About SCPSPA
Welcome to the South Carolina Private Security Professionals Association, a leading association dedicated to fostering excellence and collaboration among private security professionals.
The South Carolina Private Security Professionals Association (SCPSPA) was founded in 2023 as a resource for private security professionals to exchange information, knowledge, and methods to expand and develop a higher degree of security professionalism. SCPSA was established with a commitment to advancing the private security industry by providing a dynamic platform for networking, professional development, and industry advocacy. The overarching purpose of the SCPSPA is to fill a void of private security representation and to provide a singular voice to rally security practitioners by addressing the internal and external issues that impact all private companies that provide armed and unarmed security services.
SCPSA is a duly registered 501 (c)(6) not-for-profit organization (pending status) under IRS guidelines and South Carolina’s only contract private security association. The organization is comprised of security professionals, law enforcement and public safety professionals who are committed to working together and promoting professional relationships within the industry. Its member companies employ some of the most highly trained security professionals in the Southeast’s private security industry.
